Wesburn lived up to its name today.
Providing us with the welcome mat of slippery red clay.
After 24hrs of non stop rain. Wesburn delivered.
We styled it up, We failed. We covered approx 40ks of tracks that were determined to sit us on our arses.
A feed and beers back at my place soon had us forgetting how wet and cold we were.
Loved it out there today,.
Cheers to Bones and Rubber toe for joining me and making a terrific day of it.

Hats off to Cruiser for putting on this ride, considering the conditions. Even though i was under dressed for the i ride i enjoyed it. Haven`t ridden at Wesburn for ages especially in wet, greasy, cold ,wet and sloppey conditions. The coffee at the end of the ride was gold

Normally I give wet rides a miss, but since it's been a long while riding there thought I'll give it a crack and made sure I packed my raincoat second time in many years using it
Got put on my arse one time after my front wheel hit a very slippery log step up, lucky I had radiator protectors on so hopefully not much damage might be slightly banana shape, I felt sorry for rubbertoe with no coat as I was dry under mine and offered my coat to him for $100.00 he didn't buy it.
Thanks for the food and beers after the ride back at cruiser's place where it was warmer

We get older and we do have conditions that have more appeal.🏝
But I do remember a time when you and I would tackle conditions much worse than yesterday.
In fact, you were possibly leading those rides.
You would of loved yesterday's ride. Just not on the adventure bike.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing when I hit the slippery log step up that had a good angle on it that made me slide down into the abyss on my radiator.

Actually had the TE out a couple weeks back and will be taking it out again on Sunday- the love affair is still there!
