Had a funny moment on the ebike today was riding the local trails and caught up to a group of three ebikers and sat on the tail of the last rider for a while, don't think he knew I was behind him while we were heading to a little tricky section with a tree that hangs over the trail at a 45 degrees as he approached it he stood up and like saw that he was going to hit his head on this tree grabbed a whole lot of brakes and ended up doing a front flip and ended on his back with bike on top of him lol God damm wish I had a cam on was funny as!

Went back to lysterfield today. Had a play on my mtb.
Did this granite link trk double black .
Pretty sketchy in parts. Wouldn't want the rocks to be wet. Would make for a steep slide.

Might have to give it a crack next time I'm out that way, I guess it the same method used on that rock wall on the resent wesburn to reefton ride.

The Quarry wall is a straight run to the bottom with plenty of runoff for braking.
After observing you on the quarry wall I will say. Be carefull.
Granite Link is completley different. Much more unforgiving.
The big boulder at the start generates good speed. Braking Hard on this without locking up is key. Next smaller boulder is a bit square edgeded at the bottom. so going down this with too much speed may see an over the bars moment. Although it could be jumped. But will be landing on a rocky trk.
The rocky path then goes steeper still down to a sharp right hand turn. This area is all rocks. and was really glad they werent wet. Now you need to pick up a bit of pace for the rocky outcrop to jump the rocks on the otherside. The rest of the trk is short and reasonably smooth to the end. Let me know when you are going. would love to do it again.
