Ride reports

Post by Dope »

Howzit all,

On this weekends ride, we had a bit of a chat regarding ride reports. It was mentioned that a lot of rides are organized but not always reported on. The feeling in the group was that it should be 'mandatory' for someone to post a report after the ride, even if there are no photos, but just to give a sense of what the day was like, or just a simple thank you.

Would anyone be against a 'rule' like this, not that it can be enforced anyway, just a thought for the admins to think about really.

cheers

Yep I'd be all for it! If your like myself and don't get out anywhere near enough you tend to live vicariously through the reports I don't think you would be able to police it at all but at least this post is now putting it back into the minds of forum members

its a nice way to thank the leader publicly for taking the time to organize a ride for others just to turn up on,
Plus. I like reading what you got up to.
Makes me want to go riding.

I ride vicariously so I'm all over/into it.
This thread should be sticky for a bit?

DBT YouTube Thread-requisite: Post vid.
DBT's a Forum not only a notice board?

Edit: I wrongly surmised 'Ride Reports'.
Copy this to there & make that sticky?

Edit2: Unless folk hit 'New Posts' like me.
This'll likely be missed by all-oblivious?

Edit3: DBT host-pics: Hide if logged-off.
That'd curtail the plagiarising parasites?

All for it myself…

As mentioned above it’s great to read them when you aren’t able to get out yourself and see what’s happening

And as per Cruisers point, when I used to post up and lead a lot of rides (which I hope to start again in the not too distant future!) it was great to read people’s reports and hear people’s feedback

DBT Ride Rort Again!
B.O.R.N an Acronym?

Edit: Not perceived as police.
Rather: Yin & Yang, Tit for Tat.
