Thanks bear and walks for getting this ride happening again this year and thanks to Al and Bruce for sweeping.
Was great to catch up with all you guys pre ride. My ride was unfortunately cut short, come down awkwardly from a basic mistake. Left wrist felt a bit clicky and once back at the car knew something wasn't right from how it started swelling up.
Got it checked out and they found some fractures in both the radius bone and scaphoid. A few plates and screws have been put in to help recovery, hopefully will be back on the bike in the new year.👍
Have a great Christmas torqers.

Just add, no Gopro footage. :( Turned it off along the main rd before heading down to the res.
I'll put something up soon once edited.

Update on the recovery from the Christmas ride.

Met with the surgeon today, he's happy with how it's all coming along. Started going to physio a couple of times a week and getting movement back, will be a while before I can ride though.

Managed to get some pics from the x-rays, surgeon commented that it wasn't an easy fix and that he earned his money on this job.
Don't scroll down if you're not into that sought of stuff.

Shit, doesn't look fun Bushy, but good to hear from you. Hope repair and recovery stay on track.
(Had hoped to see you on a ride in Feb, but maybe let's pencil in March/April??)
All the best

Looks like about 11 or 12 screws and 3 plates. Not dominant cause I'm right handed but since doing this found out I must've become a bit ambidextrous over the years. Naturally just use my left hand for a lot of stuff.
What did you do to your wrist?

Wow Bushy. There is a lot of scaffolding in that wrist. I hope you are keeping well and spirits up
very keen to see you on the trails again in a few months time. Take it easy
