Best Christmas Ride EVA?

So it’s late Sunday arvo, I have no pictures and may have had a drink or two but as there is no ride report I thought I'd kick it off. Driving from “deep” on the Mornington Peninsula I left before six and it rained for the first 1 ¼ hours of my trip, I was borderline ready to turn around and go hom...

Re: Chewton Sat Sep 2 Matt’s loop

I didn't post up for this ride and hoped I wouldn't be turned away if I just fronted up, with more than a two hour travel time it was a bit of a risk. One ride in the last couple of months was not great prep especially with the handy riders that signed up. Matt led a great loop and right up till abo...

Re: Tallarook - Who Knew!

What a top day out! I had daylight savings nailed and knew I had an extra hours rest, phone alarm set, my shit was in order!! Until I heard the clock that chimes on the hour in the family room ring 6:00am and jumped out of bed an hour early "bugger". Anyway a lazy 2 hours in the car got me...

Re: GF ride L2+ & L3

So a bumpy start to the Grand final ride once again. I was doing household duties on the Thursday in order to keep my brownie points balance in positive territory and hurt my elbow, which now matched the other elbow that already had issues. I was on the 500 as my 350 is prepped for another ride next...

Re: Cobaw and a lovely Charcuterie

My first ride in vic for a few months and the weather turned it on, Whilst I hate getting moving in the dark at 5.30 by the time we got to the carpark it was looking like a perfect ride day. As usual for a "Riles Cobaw" tracks were a great selection and with some new stuff being thrown in ...

Re: Who’s updating in 2023?

Do I just keep old faithful? Do all the wheel bearings, rebuild the starter motor and get the suspension serviced (nothing wrong with the bike, just getting on top of maintenance). I did contemplate putting a 300 kit on at the first piston change but went the TSP route at the time and very happy wi...
